Patrick Brothers is an experienced board director and strategic advisor specializing in strategy, technology and national capability. He regularly delivers keynotes and hosts executive roundtables globally, exploring macroeconomics, geopolitics, data and AI, and public-private partnerships.

Throughout his career, Patrick has advised leading global institutions on strategy and investment, ranging from influential international bodies like the World Bank, United Nations, OECD, and the World Economic Forum, to technology giants including Apple, AWS, Google, Microsoft, Baidu, and Tencent. His advisory experience extends to prominent investors such as Blackrock, Blackstone, Goldman Sachs, and Temasek, as well as purpose-driven brands like Coursera, Duolingo, Lego, and Lonely Planet. Patrick is also recognized as a seasoned Chair and Non-Executive Director, and notably as the co-founder and former Co-CEO of HolonIQ, a New York-based global intelligence platform acquired in 2024 by QS Quacquarelli Symonds in London.

Before co-founding HolonIQ, Patrick held senior executive roles across multinational organizations for more than two decades. His leadership experience includes positions as CEO, Chief Strategy and Investment Officer, and Executive Vice President in sectors such as infrastructure, education, energy, and resources, as well as senior roles in Strategy, M&A, and Private Equity at Deloitte.

In addition to his formal career, Patrick actively coaches and mentors high-performance athletes and expedition teams, helping more than ten groups achieve world-record accomplishments. Notably, he’s supported groundbreaking adventures such as the first mother-daughter ascent of Mount Everest and the ‘7 Summits,’ the fastest helicopter flight around the globe in 11 days, 7 hours, and 2 minutes, and trans-ocean kayak crossings spanning more than 60 days.

Patrick holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales, an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and graduated first place in Field Leadership and Military Skills from the Royal Military College, Duntroon, starting his career as an Australian Army Officer in the Parachute Regiment.
